Central heating is electric and the kitchen contains an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer with ice despenser and washing machine. There is a TV with Freeview in the living/dining room and WiFi throughout. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove are included in the price, along with bed linen and towels. Outside there is off-road parking for several cars and a front garden with raised patio, gravelled area and picnic bench. The cottage welcomes pets, but smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 0.4 miles away, the pub 3.7 miles, and the beach 1 mile. Note: The garden is not enclosed. The Bothy welcomes adventurers to explore the wonders of the Isle of Skye.

The coastal village of Staffin is located in the northern part of the Isle of Skye. With two restaurants, two stores, a part-time running Post Office, the Staffin Slipway for sailing enthusiasts, the only sandy beach in the north of Skye, and numerous walks along the shore or inland, this calm community overlooks Staffin Bay and Staffin Island. The major town on Skye, Portree, lies 17 miles down the coast, and from there, the entire island may be easily explored.
