Ian’s House is a spacious holiday cottage on Islay with sea views and set in the grounds of a distillery. What more could a whisky-lover want?
You will enjoy the sea views from the lounge of this single-storey holiday cottage. On chilly evenings you can enjoy a dram of Islay whisky sitting by the open fire. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a private and fully-enclosed garden making a safe place for your children to play or your dog to run around.

Situated in the grounds of Laphroaig Distillery in the southern part of Islay, the cottage is named after Ian, a cooper at Laphroaig. From the holiday house a short walk takes you to the shore and the distillery.

Getting to Islay
You can travel to the Isle of Islay by ferry or by air:
Ferries to Islay
The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry runs from Kennacraig to either Port Ellen or Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay. The trip takes approx 2 hours. Alternatively, during the summer you can take the ferry on selective days from Oban to Port Askaig.
Flights to Islay
