Maggie’s Tea Room, Camusnagaul, Dundonnell

Tasty homemade food by Little Loch Broom

Maggie’s Tea Room is in an idyllic spot in Camusnagaul, Dundonnell overlooking Little Loch Broom.

The tea room serves tea, coffee, homemade soup, home baking, hot and cold snacks and lunches. I had a really tasty pea soup and my partner was tempted by a toffee meringue which he thoroughly enjoyed. The crockery was lovely too with a tartan and thistle design and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

You can choose to sit indoors in the conservatory which also contains a small gift shop. As it was a lovely September day when we visited we chose to sit outside on the decking with views of Little Loch Broom.

Children are well-catered for with a garden which they can access using a slide. (I have to admit I was tempted too!)

Holiday Scottish Highlands & Islands says:

“If you’re passing Maggie’s Tea Room, don’t! Make sure you turn round and enjoy some great homemade food.”
