St Mary’s is a beautiful church nestled in magical Glen Creran. Deconsecrated in the 70s, it is now our family home and multi-use art work space. And we’re inviting other people to use it too. Writers, artists, musicians, performers, philosophers, naturalists, sound designers, animators, film makers, crafters, designers, journalists, photographers (sorry if we missed anyone) all welcome!
Or you can just escape to our cosy, unique & eclectic church home which offers quirky decor, wood burning stove, a huge church living & art space, tranquillity & stunning landscapes on the west coast of Scotland. The perfect retreat & nature lovers paradise at the foot of Beinn Sgulaird, perfectly positioned for hiking, mountain biking, coasteering, sea kayaking, boat trips to the Isles, Glen Coe, distilleries & so on.
Our guest room is very private with two joined single beds = comfy super king size bed.
St Marys Church & Rectory was built in the 1890s & was deconsecrated in the 1970s. The church is attached to our home which was the rectory & access to the church is through an internal door.
Our garden has a large lawn, woodland areas and a river & mountain view. Our home makes the perfect base to use for trips, walks or just chilling and letting life pass you by.
Your room is very private & separate from our home at the end of the church in the old vestry. There is a television, DVD player & chest of drawers in the room. There is a private shower-room downstairs for you in our home, but please note that it is not en-suite.
