Oban is only ten miles north of the cottage and its ferry port gives you lots of options for day trips to explore the islands of the Inner Hebrides including the Isle of Mull and Rum.
The west coast of Scotland is only a few miles away and the famous Bridge over the Atlantic is well worth a visit.
